Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, returned to the stage Wednesday to celebrate his latest album, Bully. He performed at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, opening with songs from the project, including “King” and “Father,” which features Travis Scott.

Later in the set Ye revisited older material, performing “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1” and “Can’t Tell Me Nothing.” AndrĂ© Troutman and Don Toliver joined him onstage, with the latter performing “Moon,” as well as his own track, “E85.” North West also made an appearance, joining her father for a live rendition of their song “Talking” and her debut single, “Piercing on My Hand.”

The rest of the set alternated between classic and newer Ye tracks, but not without issues. During his performance of “Good Life,” Ye became frustrated with the lighting, pausing multiple times to address the problem.

“Yo, I don’t like when the lights move like that, like a disco and s***. It don’t go with the stage. Don’t do that. Stop doing that,” he said the first time.

“Yo, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop,” he second a second time. “You see that? When it does that? Don’t do that. That s***’s corny.”

The third time, he stopped the song and asked, “Is this an SNL skit or something? Stop doing the vibrating, Vegas lights, bro. We went over this in rehearsal.” The team eventually got things right.

Ye will perform at SoFi Stadium again Thursday night. He also has a slate of shows planned for 2026, including a headlining set at Wireless Festival. London Mayor Sadiq Khan clarified that the decision was made by festival organizers, a move that has drawn criticism from the U.K.’s Jewish Leadership Council due to Ye’s past antisemitic remarks.

Ye previously issued an apology for his past behavior.
