Valley Isle Community Federal Credit Union currently is holding its annual preschool supply drive for the children of Maui Economic Opportunity’s Head Start. The drive runs through July 7. Supplies can be dropped off at the credit union’s branches in Kahului, Wailuku and Lahaina. Items preferred for donation include wide ruled composition books, Crayola Markers 10 count broad tip, Crayola Crayons large 8 count and 24 count, plastic pencil boxes, glue sticks, glue bottles and blunt tip scissors. There are also a few spots still available for 3 and 4 year old’s for Head Start preschool for the 2025-26 school year. For more information and applications for Head Start go to meoinc.org.
