The Maui Humane Society is desperate for pet adoptions due to a lack of kennel space. To promote adoptions, the humane society is hosting a series of promotions for the remainder of April. This Saturday and next, April 19 and 26, 11 am to 1 pm, the shelter is hosting its Meet the Fosters event and is waiving adoption fees for all dogs six months and older. There are other specials as well. For details go to mauihumanesociety.org.
