The Maui Food Bank recently announced that the National Association of Letter Carriers’ 33rd annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive collected over 26,000 pounds of food from Maui residents on Saturday, May 10. This community-wide effort will help provide meals to local families facing food insecurity. Stamp Out Hunger, the nation’s largest single-day food drive, makes it easy for residents to support their communities by donating nonperishable food items. Local letter carriers collected food donations left next to mailboxes during their regular postal routes, ensuring the donations reached the Maui Food Bank efficiently.
